RMA Application Redesign

This project involved a comprehensive redesign of the Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) online application used by case managers across the nation. I led the UX and interface overhaul with a focus on efficiency, accessibility, and clarity. These enhancements were designed to support faster, more accurate application processing and reduce training burdens for new caseworkers.

Key improvements include:

  • Reordered application fields to match real-world case flow and reduce navigation time
  • Created tooltip guidance (information icons) embedded throughout the interface to provide real-time support and reduce input errors
  • Reworded eligibility questions to improve comprehension and reduce ambiguity
  • Embedded conditional logic that dynamically reveals or hides follow-up questions based on applicant responses
